ZACI(Zion Academy of Certified Instruction) is a nationally Registered Yoga School (RYS) with the Yoga Alliance, which designates this teacher training program as one which follows the Yoga Alliance's standards. Become a nationally Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance and receive international certification as a Hatha Yoga Teacher. ZACI's unique 200-hour teacher training program combines elements of hatha alignment based yoga with an in depth emphasis on developing creative, powerful and intelligent alignment vinyasa sequences.
The ZACI 200 hour teacher-training program is for anyone who has the desire to deepen his or her own personal practice and understanding of the philosophy of yoga.
Yoga unlocks the power, intelligence, potential, and beauty that lies within each of us. It creates a path to self-discovery, self-realization, and self-mastery. Practicing the eight-limb path of yoga promotes a stillness of mind, increased mental clarity, focus, creativity, and awareness while providing a physical and emotional release from the daily stress and pressure of a fast-paced, instant, indulgent, and demanding lifestyle.

The Eight Limbs of Yoga
The biomechanics involved in postural alignment and making adjustments.
Anatomical and physiological understanding of the instruction of yoga and the development of movement skills.
Techniques used to recognize and correct common misalignments of yoga asanas.
Effective methods for teaching principles of alignment of the yoga asanas.
The art of teaching and sequencing the asanas.
The development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of lesson plans and instructional methods for teaching yoga.
Sanskrit and the cultural/history and the spiritual traditions of yoga philosophy and practice.
Ethics for yoga teachers.
Principles of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology in relationship to the asanas.
Energetic anatomy - Chakras, Nadis, Koshas, Vayus, Kriyas, and Mudras.
The doshas and ayurveda basics.
Pranayama and meditative techniques.

“Yoga practice is a time for me to reflect on my core needs, beliefs, and desires that truly matter most.
