Chelsea Clarkson was born and raised in Northern Utah.  From the time she was a little girl, she spent the summers in St. George visiting her grandparents and staining her white socks with the red dirt of the desert.  It has been said that once the red dirt gets in your shoes, it is impossible to get it out.  This proved to be true for Chelsea as she fell in love with Utah’s Dixie.

While attending Dixie State College, Chelsea found another love, her now husband, John. His career took them to Orange County, California where Chelsea became certified through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and began teaching group fitness classes at 24 Hour Fitness.  “Health and fitness has always been a part of my life. I have many childhood memories of my mom jumping rope in the garage while Bob Marley bellowed in the background, practicing yoga in the front room or hiking the awe-inspiring mountains surrounding our home.”

In 2007 Chelsea and her husband returned to St. George where Chelsea began running a lot and practicing yoga. The more she ran, the more yoga she did and her love of yoga blossomed Chelsea’s love and passion for yoga led her to complete a 200 RYT certification. “I cannot believe the personal growth that yoga has brought into my life.  I am forever a better person because of it.  I want to help others experience the transformative power of yoga.  I love yoga.”

Chelsea has completed her 500 RYT certification at ZACI (Zion Academy of Certified Instruction). She has three children that absolutely light up her life.  In her limited 'free' time you might find her enjoying traveling to near and far places, sewing an array of things, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen and exploring the magic of photography.
