Magical unicorns exist

Bricanei is a native to southern Utah. She moved to St. George in the mid 80’s. She graduated from Dixie High School and Dixie College. In 1993, she married her high school sweetheart, Bryan. Together, they pursued their education; first studying at the University of Utah, then moving to San Francisco. Bricanei graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1998. She has been building a successful dental practice ever since. She and Bryan have three amazing children. They are very active and energetic “tweens”. Bricanei loves music and rocking at concerts with her hubby. She is a lover of exercise and whipping up delicious, healthy meals. Love is her dharma. She has so much love to give.

Bricanei first discovered yoga while she was doing some very physical cross training. She had a passion for cycling. This quickly led to running and eventually triathlon. Yoga was the perfect addition to her physical regimen. She completed many century cycling events, Lotoja, the Seattle Marathon, and the St. George Ironman 70.3. Following a wrist and knee injury, she realized that her triathlon days were numbered. She also realized that yoga was an activity that she could do for the rest of her life. Bricanei enrolled in the Zion Academy of Certified Instruction in 2015. She earned her 200 RYT in November of that year. She had no intention of ever teaching yoga. She merely wanted to deepen her practice. As she learned more about yoga and its philosophy, her life was forever changed. She yearned to know more and to share this magic with everyone. Bricanei enrolled in the 500 RYT at ZACI and after 9 months of training has completed her 500 RYT advanced yoga certification.

“Yoga is my vortex! It is my port in any storm. I truly believe that people come into your life exactly when you need them. ZACI has given me some of the most magical friendships. These people are shining beacons of love, truth, light, understanding, and compassion. Without them, my life would not be the same. When I first started yoga, it was purely physical. As my practice has developed and I have learned to be present and connect with my breath, I have felt the body, mind, and soul connection. Yoga has taught me love, forgiveness, self-acceptance, humility, and a way to let go of the things that no longer serve me in a positive way. Because of MY truths that I have discovered in MY practice, I am a better wife, mother, friend, and over-all human being. If you let it, yoga WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!! I cannot thank Paula and Donna enough for bringing this light into my life. I will forever be a ZACIbaby!!!”
